£25,000 Extra Pension Secured for Members by UKAPE

At a major consultancy, some staff were made redundant after many years service and shortly before reaching retirement. The UKAPE members among them were immediately able to seek free advice on their legal position and to have representation in negotiations.

Their UKAPE membership secured immediate increased pension compensation, in the region of up to £25,000 additional lump sum, many many times in excess of a lifetime subscription to UKAPE.

In stark contrast, those staff made redundant, who were not members, had to pay the equivalent of several years annual UKAPE subscription just for legal advice, and received no support, representation, negotiation or additional compensation.
